INKSTER, Mich. (AP) — A second man charged in the slaying of a 2-year-old Detroit-area girl is expected to appear before a judge.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says Raphael Hearn faces arraignment Saturday in 34th District Court in Romulus.
Hearn, of Inkster, is charged with first-degree murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder and using a firearm during a felony. Raymone Jackson was arraigned Thursday on the same charges.
Kamiya Gross was shot in the head Tuesday night outside a home in Inkster, southwest of Detroit. Police have said she was an "intended target" in the shooting that also left her 26-year-old father and a 13-year-old girl wounded.
Police have said the shooting appeared to be retaliation for a shooting in April.
It wasn't clear Saturday whether Hearn has an attorney.
